CBSE, CISCE Term 2 Exam 2022: Supreme Court has dismissed a petition seeking cancellation of offline examinations for class 10th and 12th to be conducted by all state boards, CBSE, ICSE and National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). . The Supreme Court says that such petitions are misleading and give false hope to the students.
The Supreme Court has dismissed the petition after hearing the arguments of the petitioner in the matter of making CBSE 10th, 12th examinations online. The petitioner had said that the examination should be ordered to be conducted like last year.

A bench of Justice AM Khanwilkar, Justice Dinesh Maheshwari, and Justice CT Ravikumar said that considering your petition means creating more confusion. Already by filing this application in the name of Public Interest Litigation, you have created a lot of confusion among the students and parents. The petitioner said that you had considered such a petition last year also. The situation is more or less the same. Online classes have been conducted, courses have not been completed, students have not got a chance to study regularly in school. The court said that the board and the authorities related to the examination also know everything. There is no point in us interfering. This petition is not justified at all. You desist from filing such a petition. We also want to impose a monetary penalty on you, but for now, we are just rejecting it.
