Despite the release of Akshay Kumar starrer Bachchan Pandey on Friday, ‘The Kashmir Files’ continues its stellar run at the box office. Directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, his film has made the highest collection so far on the eighth day (second Friday). The film, based on the massacre of Kashmiri Pandits, has earned Rs 120.35 crore with its entry into the club of 100 crores.
Usually, most movies peak in their first weekend, but ‘The Kashmir Files’ has earned the highest on day eight. If trade analysts are to be believed, the peak of ‘The Kashmir Files’ is yet to come. That is, the film can collect more than 160 crores in 10 days. The Kashmir Files is one of the biggest blockbusters of the modern era of Hindi cinema, and also because it has been made on a modest budget of Rs 15 crore.
